Our story				
# A villa named for the ocean

									
Villa Okeanos sits high on the limestone ridge above Shoal Bay East, ranked the #1 beach in the Caribbean by USA Today in 2023. It was designed for one specific kind of trip: a group that wants to be together all day and private all night. 5,000 sq ft across three floors, 11 guests max, and a view that does not share itself with any neighbor.

## Five thousand square feet, three floors, one unforgettable view

																			
Three king ensuite suites hold the adults: two on the main level by the pool deck (one with direct pool access), and the primary suite up top with two private balconies, one facing north and one south. The ground floor belongs to the kids: the 800 sq ft Kids Lounge with two twin-over-full bunks, a queen sleeper sofa, a smart TV, and games, sleeping up to 5.

																			
The bottom bunks are full size, so on adult-group trips the lounge suits grown-ups or a fourth couple just as well. Between them, one great room under 20 ft vaulted ceilings with folding glass walls, a fully equipped kitchen, and the infinity pool running to the horizon. It works as well for two couples as for a family of eleven, because each suite closes off on its own level and the Kids Lounge floor runs itself.

											
				
			
							
				
				
				
								
				
					The name					
## Named after Okeanos, the god of the sea

					
In Greek mythology, Okeanos is the Titan of the world-ocean, the water that circles the earth. On an island that is 14 miles long with 33 free beaches, where the sea is the view from every room, no other name fit. ## Meet Leigh & Dave

					
Leigh and Dave first came to Anguilla in 2013 and never really left. Villa Okeanos is theirs, and hosting it is personal: you email leigh@okeanosanguilla.com and Leigh answers, typically within a day. Guests consistently describe them as the most responsive, generous hosts they have ever had. At home in the States they volunteer with dog rescue and share their house with six dogs, including rescues from Anguilla itself.
