Villa Okeanos Anguilla, an Anguilla villa named for the ocean
Villa Okeanos Anguilla is a privately owned 4 bedroom Anguilla villa rental on a gated lot. The villa is located at the eastern end of Shoal Bay East, perched 150 feet up the limestone ridge above Shoal Bay East beach, which USA Today ranked #1 in the Caribbean in 2023. Its accommodation sleeps 11 guests across 5,000 sq ft and three floors, with sea views from every room. No agency runs it. The Villa Okeanos owners do.

Three floors, four bedrooms, one view of Shoal Bay
Every adult bedroom is a king suite with its own bathroom and air conditioning. Two sit on the main level beside the private pool, one opening straight onto the pool deck. The primary suite has the upstairs to itself, with one balcony for ocean views and another facing the lush green hillside and St. Maarten. Each couple gets a door that closes and a view worth waking up for.
Downstairs, the 800 sq ft Kids Lounge can sleep five in two twin-over-full bunk beds and a queen sleeper sofa, and the lower bunks are full size. Between the floors sits the spacious great room: vaulted ceilings, glass walls that fold back to the tropical trade winds, a fully equipped kitchen and WiFi, among other amenities. Outside, an outdoor terrace with loungers, a gas barbecue grill and a table where all eleven can dine.
Why the villa is called Okeanos
In Greek myth, Okeanos is the ocean itself, the water that rings the world. Here that is not a metaphor. Anguilla is 16 miles long with 33 beaches to swim and snorkel, and from this ridge the sea fills every window: Shoal Bay East and the Atlantic Ocean to the north, the Caribbean Sea and St. Maarten to the south. The name picked itself.

Meet Leigh & Dave
Leigh and Dave first came to Anguilla in 2013 and kept coming back. They host every guest themselves: write to leigh@okeanosanguilla.com and Leigh replies, usually within a day. She can stock the villa with groceries before your arrival, line up a car rental at the airport, and tell you which restaurant and beach bar tables to book first, from Gwen's Reggae Bar and Elodia's to Meads Bay on the West End.
Off the island they volunteer with Fly To Freedom Dog Rescue and share their home in the States with six dogs, some rescued from Anguilla. Think of them as your concierge: ask anything, from bunk layouts to a 7-night cost split.
